The Sovereignty of God

I didn't want to overshadow the last news of tonight (story about us in WORLD), but this video was too good not to post. Please take a moment to hear John's testimony about his faith. I need to watch this video and listen to John about 100 times a day -- I have a lot to learn. Oh yeah, he has SMA!

Peace <><

Dear Emily and your wonderful family, I read the article is World about you and just had to read more. I am so glad the world is hearing about you. My 20 year old son was diagnosed with a rare cancer this past June and I can really identify with the whole hospital/doc/RN scene. I am an RN as well, but we all know God is the only one who knows everything. Life is hard but it is life. I love John's testimony about the sovereignty of God. Only He knows the ultimate purpose and plan each one of us has in His overall plan to bring glory to Himself. It truly is a joy and privilege to be used by Him even though many times we do not like the process we find ourselves going through. The Word of God has been my food, the prayers of believers and their care and compassion have held my arms up, and the power of God has sustained us and is sustaining us through it all. I shall pray for you and I will share your site on my blog:
www.daninthelionsden.blogspot.com God loves you and your family so much. He will keep you close to His heart. Blessings, Jamie

Lee Family, I read your article in WORLD two days ago and can not stop thinking and praying for Emily and your family. Emily is so beautiful! My daughter Naomi (who will be two in Jan) saw Emily's picture and kissed it, so kisses from one little girl to another! Your story is amazing, God is using your life in wonderful ways, you won't even know all of them all until heaven! You have made me grateful for my kids health, hold them a little closer (yet still trusting them to God), be reminded of God's sovereignty and inspired. Not everyone who read your article will tell you, but so many of us are touched and are praying. May God bless you richly through all of your kids! We will keep Emily's picture up in our home.

Could you pls contact me at jduin@washingtontimes.com? I've no other way to get ahold of you.
